S4E2 A Cross -Cultural Education
An interview with author Laurie Vandenhurk, a Canadian who moved to Tanzania to serve the people there while homeschooling her children. Laurie has authored a series of books for children which tells the stories of her own children experiencing village life in Tanzania. Laurie has chosen to publish her stories with Admiration Books, a division of Canadian-A Educational Resources (the sponsor of this podcast).
Learn how Laurie went to Tanzania, and how she and her family were impacted by life there, and some useful “takeaways” in terms of how engaging with other cultures and experiences can teach our children that a stranger is a friend we have not met yet.
